The evolution of the iPod has changed the way people collect and listen to music What once took up space in the home or required numerous folders in the car can now be stored conveniently in a pocket. One drawback, however, is that the iPod doesn't have a speaker loud enough to drown out the sounds of a car or share your tunes with others while you're driving. Just as the iPod has made things more convenient, new vehicles--including the Toyota Matrix--are installing stereos that connect directly to the iPod and play over the car's speakers.
